Three Days Before the Weekends

I skipped class this morning. I just don't feel like going. So now let me tell you how irresponsible I am with class requirements and deadlines:

1. I still have to pass a reaction paper on a topic I find really childish and uninteresting. It was due this morning and because I skipped my Euthenics class, i have to pass it tomorrow.

2. I have an exam tonight. So far, I have been lucky to have high grades. Now, I'm still three activities short for our midterms. And since, it's semifinals na, I still have to pass these requirements which was due last month.

3. I still have 12 case analysis I have to pass until March 25.

4. I have to pass a compilation of our requirements in Bio. Not only did I misplaced those papers, I'm not excited to submit one this Friday. It's odd because I usually like creative activities. I can still submit next week though I'll receive deductions (like I always do). No, I made a promise to my prof to submit on time!

5. I have to write a screenplay for a film due on Monday. I mean, the film is due on Monday so we still have to shoot. hmmnn... I don't like my set of actresses. I'll write about bitches then. Tama!

6. I still have to make a group (note, group) presentation for Filipino. Since I picked the topic (Philippine Literature), my classmates expect something great.
Hmmmnnn

7. I have 3 Chapters to answer in Business Law. Not only was it due last year, I never even read the book.

Hmmnnn.... And that's just a slice of my academic obligations. Let's see, I still have an org I established this year (I'm the founder) which I fin find boring na, articles that I researched but I'm uninterested to write and other commitments that I don't want anymore.

Hay, buhay.

Pagsulat (Writing)

I'm still in college. And one of the important lessons I finally understood while studying is that although I love to write, I don't enjoy all forms of writing.

Since my bestfriend (and her boyfriend) already knows that I'm a perv, I'll let myself be free and use sex as a metaphor for writing.

1. First, I hate journalism. I don't like news writing, editorial and all those types that has to do with journalism.

It's like a chore. A boring, tedious chore. When I write an article, I felt like I'm slicing and carving out my heart, and forcing my emotions and mind to have sex without having fun. It feels like marital rape, pressing and penetrating me to write and finish writing yet during the process, I never felt any pleasure. I have a commitment to submit an article for publication but I never reached my peak even if I finished one.

2. And, I don't like essays. When I write an essay, it feels that I'm having sex with a partner who doesn't care if I cum or not. I just have to look for and touch his/her spot to satisfy him/her but I'm always left behind. Just like when I write an essay for a class, I'm writing not to be satisfied. I write to satisfy the prof so he/she can give me a good grade. I never achieved pleasure for I'm always worried that if I don't come up with the proper words (or key words), I'll be inadequate as a writer. It's not about me. it's not about my satisfaction. it's always about the prof and the class.

3. Unlike journalism and essays, I enjoy literature and creative writing above all. My mind and heart not only enjoy the coupling, they also let my soul join the fun in a threesome. Needless to say, I find release.

The thought of writing excites me. My interest is aroused every time I thought of an original concept. This is about me. This is mine. This is for me. This is made by me. Words can't grasp and describe the pure pleasure and basic gratification I feel when I write literary pieces. And what's even more pleasurable is when I write poems, novels, short stories and plays and I feel that I'm having sex with a virgin who has a potential to be a great lover. I mean, something original... a concept no one had delved before, and the thought that I'm the only one who can recognize it's creative potential makes me feel that I'm a great lover of literature who can touch on "something" that had never been explored before.

And what's more, only in writing literary pieces can I achieve multiple orgasms which make me sated enough to continue living reality with contentment.

Why Not Display My Real Name?

I just created this blog some minutes ago and I want to share what I realized while doing so.

As you may have guessed I decided not to display my real name nor did I use my usual e-mail address. And I think most of the bloggers did the same.

Why? First, though I wanted to share my inner thoughts with everyone by blogging, at the back of my mind, I keep thinking that I want you to know the "real," "inner" me but I don't want you to know my identity. Fear of exposure and criticism? Or maybe I just want to conceal something, to hold on to something private that only a few knows.

So, with Balintataw Fuss, though I want to write what I think and feel freely, I'm still wearing a mask by assuming a different name. In reality, it's still difficult to be "yourself."

Pen names, user names are used to mask our identities. Funny thing is humans hide their feelings but when they do release them, they hide their names.

BTW, It's the same with wearing glasses for when I wear a pair (everyday), I try to block everyone from looking right through the windows of my soul. Lenses shield me from those prying eyes while pseudo names protect my peace my mind.

Sakim pa rin pala ako. I don't want to share to you the one thing I cherished for twenty years yet I don't want to share with anyone... my name.
